Faris Hytiaa is an award-winning comedian who’s appeared at festivals and clubs throughout North America. In 2023 he was included as one of the New Faces of Comedy at Just For Laughs in Montreal as well as the New Wave of Stand Up at JFL Vancouver.

Born in Toronto to Sudanese parents and raised in Alberta, Faris filmed TELUS' first-ever comedy special, SEND HELP and by his fourth year in comedy he had been selected by every televised comedy festival in Canada

His sophmore album, Homesick was nominated for Comedy Album of the Year at the 2026 Juno Awards and can regularly be heard on SiriusXM.
